Here's my setup:

Chaintech 7NJS Motherboard
AMD Athlon 2400XP+
512MB Kington DUAL DDR
40 GB Western Digital
2 80 GB Maxtor on Raid 0

The 160GB raid has Windows XP on it. I want the 40gb to have LINUX redhat 8.0 on it. I think it will install fine on that drive, but i can't see the raid.

Here's what I did..

1) Booted the RedHat CD.
2) Custom Install
3) Disk Druid
4) Only 40 GB shows up

What i want to know is after installing Linux can I see the raid0 with NTFS and read/write to it? And also how can i get to see the raid devices at INSTALL of redhat..

Promise has no drivers?

Even if you can see the Raid device in Redhat, you won't be able to mount as ntfs since RH does not (very popular topic here at LNO) support ntfs by default.

Read only support is recommended.

Please see my sig and search the LNO forums for 'Redhat NTFS'.
