I am trying to install Mandrake PPC 8.2.
When I selected CD-ROM to install Mandrake, it returned an error that the CD-ROM drive could not be found. Then asked me to select a SCSI drive.
I am basically stuck even before I got to the graphical installation process. I desperately need help.
My machine is; --
PowerPC 7500
Originally 100 MHz G3. Upgraded with aftermarket 480 MHz G3
381 MB of RAM
1 GB HD
4 GB HD
CD-ROM in question is original
Naturally, I was using bootx.
Any help on this matter will be highly appreciated.
