installation cant find disk device

I am trying to install redhat 6. currently i have a 40g disk, with first 10g installed win me in fat32; next 10 g left for redhat; thereafter 10g installed win2000 in ntfs. when i boot from redhat 6 and get to the fdisk stage, there is a error "device file not exist". why? how to sovle it? thanks.

Hmm...looks like the version you're trying to have installed is a bit old...why not go RHL 8.0? IMHO that's a whole lot better than 6.
