GeForce 4 general question

Not really a linux specific question, but i need help none the less.

On my GeForce 4 i have both VGA and DVI ports. I was wondering, if i were to get a DVI to VGA converter, would it be possible to use dual monitors through these, or would it just show the same screen on 2 different displays?

getting the geforce 4 runnign with linux take s apain.... takes alot of super console caommands(non gui)

Nothing wrong with cli. You been working with windoze too long. ;)
