hi there . My problem is i'm on an internal network ( intranet in my office) . How could i know the ip for my computer that could be accessed from outside ( Internet) ? and one more thing , i have managed to start the apache and can be accessed locally/by intranet but how can i access it from the Internet ? Hope to get a reply soon and thanks in advance !! :p

To see what IP is visible to the world, you can point your browser to www.IPChicken.com. That will show the IP of the one computer connected to the internet that your network goes through to reach the outside world.
As for computers outside getting in to your computer, you would need to configure the one computer connected to the internet to route all incoming web-requests to the server on your network. That would consist of forwarding port 80 to the internal-network IP of the computer you want to serve your web-sight.
Easier said than done. You would need to know which computer it is, and have access and permissions to change the settings.

That site is whack. Telling me I have open ports then try and charge $12.95 to run a port scan. Use www.whatismyip.com
