Windows XP how do u boot from cd first?

I'm new to XP, and I tried pressing f8 at the startup, and though I get a list of options, I can't see where to get it to run from the cd-rom before anything else. Can you guys help?

by the way... if you wanna boot from cd..
u gotta change ur motherboard bios so it starts to boot from cd first, not harddrive...read ur motherboard manual, and if you are booting xp cd...it will ask you to press any key to boot from the cd.. so press any key to boot from the CD

Booting from CDROM first is a function of of the motherboard BIOS settings and not XP.

Check your motherboard manual for details. The BIOS configuration setup can be accessed usually by pressing the delete key during power on self test.
