I've tried everything to get this Linksys WPC11 ver.3 wireless card to work and I have gotten nowhere. Here is some background I was running RH 7.1 upgraded the kernel to 2.4.19 and it was compiled with no pcmcia support. I've downloaded the pcmcia_cs 3.2.3 and the linux-wlan-ng-0.1.9 source, they are both installed. I tried to use the version available at Linksys, but it never compiled without errors. Now when I try to insert the card I get no response and when I try to restart pcmcia service I'm getting a modprobe error can't locate module yenta_socket. I would really like to get this card working any help would be appreciated. I've also tried to create a hermes.conf file and make adjustment there and still no luck. This installation is taking place on a Dell Inspiron 2600.
