Just an idea but why dont you put a Linux forum under the off topic section. I think that this should be done as alot of the messages under /dev/random seem to actually be about Linux and as the description of the /dev/random suggests:
Man does not live on Linux alone.
So it should be a place where people go to not talk about Linux.

Why not just shutdown /dev/random, and then the only place for Linux questions will be in the Linux forums?
Or maybe we can simply ignore that bandwidth blackhole...

I like Jessejames idea I read alot of the /dev/random stuff and what he says is true although I said also keep the /dev/random section for the completely off topic nothing to do with and just plain odd Threads.
