Hey everybody.
I was wondering if ANYONE could tell me how to make system alert dialogues come up on both the linux box (the LAN server) and the clients' (all are running Windows of varying versions as the same Samba user) computers.
I'm talking about the little windows which have a little icon and say "General Error 20210 - User is too stupid to use a computer" and have Okay, Abort, Yes, No, Cancel, Retry etc. buttons on the bottom.
I'd like to be able to send these alerts to everyone connected to the network, and if possible, to one person at a time.
Even the simplest advice is appreciated.
Thanks everyone!
