I'm looking for a good program that rips, encodes and plays mp3s. It would also be nice if it would allow me to burn playlists onto cd.

I've downloaded MusicMatch (the program I used for years in Windows) but the version for linux is a little flaky.

I'm probably asking for a lot in one program but I am just trying to get a clue.

I have had little luck using a front-end to doing any of that. I use these programs...

mp32ogg : mp3 -> ogg conversion which destroys quality but I don't care! :)

mpg123 : mp3 to wav, or speaker output

ogg123 : ogg to wav, or speaker output

cdrecord dev=0,0,0 -eject speed=10 -pad -audio *.wav : burns the *.wav files to a cd.
