Due to an unfortunate accident involving a beverage, an idiot, and my computer, I am now once again faced with the task of installing Linux.
I decided to go with Mandrake this time. I downloaded the isos, the md5s checked out, and I booted up off the CD. All was going well until it got to the "Partition Check" part.
There are two hard drives and two CD drives in this computer. The hard drives are hda and hdb. The partitions are fine on hda (where I want to install (dual booting with Win98 (already installed))), but when it gets to hdb, it just stops. The cursor blinks. And blinks. And (you guessed it) blinks.
I've no idea why it would do this. I have access to that drive in Windows, so it's all connected properly. Any ideas?
