camera ? / cdrom ? for Mandrake 9.0

# 1. I do not have Kamera tools on my system and want to run my camera what do i do....do i download this some ware or how can i down load my pic's and put them on a cd?????

# 2. I put in a Music cd and hit Gnome CD play and it list the songs hit play and its runnig but I have no sound what do i do ?????

1. What kind of camera and what kind of interface? Does it have some kind of "smart card?"
2. Try turning up the volume with your favorite mixer.

I have a Kodak DC 3500 with a CompactFlash the camera is pluged into my USB's, but I dont think that the plug and play works with Mandrake 9.0 -I put in my Usb mouse and it doesnt work, there for will my camera really work and how...
