Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : ut2003 demo sound=none jbmcmillan 01-03-2003, 02:28 AM I had this installed and running great except for the sound would crackle a little until I got into playing then was fine.I started it up tonite and no sound at all everything is running great except this.I was messing around trying to get my cd player working (no sound)and not sure if I did something or what.Any ideas?ThanksEDIT: just tried ut and same problem something to do with alsa?where and how would I check? jymbo 01-04-2003, 07:16 PM I had problems with sound in UT2k3 as well. I was able to trace it to the arts sound server (in KDE). I simply disabled it (actually, removed the package entirely) and that fixed it (also fixed problems with XMMS).
