blackbox & fonts ?

for some reason I can't get blackbox to use any decent fonts on the menu or anything else...

it keeps reverting back to helvetica...

anyone know how to fix this?

You have to specify a valid font name in the theme file ,
should be somewhere like /usr/local/share/blackbox/styles/..
Have a look at the styles which come with BB to get an idea.

i've downloaded other themes and fonts and none of them seem to work with their fonts either...

and i've been using bbconf to edit the style files and the fonts still do not work...

reverts to helvetica still...

Open up your /etc/X11/XF86Config ( or XF86Config-4.X ) file check under the section called fonts/files to see if the directory where your fonts are installed is listed. Should be /usr/share/fonts or something.
