Acqua OsX-KDE

I posted this in the software forum, but I think i would get a better response in this one .


- Installation instructions -
Run the script ./install.sh for installation.
Run Control Center and select Look'n'Feel.
Select Style and then Acqua-Graphite in the style list. Click on Apply.
Select Window Decoration and then IceWM in the list. Select the Configure tab and then Acqua in the window decorations list. Click on Apply.

Select Icons and click on the open files button. Select the Acqua.icons.tar.gz or Acqua-Faux.icons.tar.gz file and click on OK. Click on Install new theme and then on Apply.
Select Wallpaper and then acqua-graphite.jpg in the wallpaper list. Click on Apply.


These are the directions listed in the readme file. Now, look what i typed in the shell.

kdeinit: Fatal IO error: client killed
kdeinit: sending SIGHUP to children.
kdeinit: sending SIGTERM to children.
kdeinit: Exit.

Whats up with the Mutex thing? I tried to apply the style, but it doesn't even come up, please give me some suggestions to get this up and running.

Have you tried to "re-boot" to see if it comes up in "Look and Feel" and can be applied. I've installed this mucho times and have never seen this error. What version of KDE are you running?

I did reboot and went into the KDE control center, then finally into Look & Feel, there was nothing. I use KDE 3.0.-3.8

Would you mind giving me some notes on how you did it?
