Just installed and it worked... mostly.

I just Installed RH7.0 ( the copy that come with Red Hat 7 for Dummies) and it installed fine. Yipee!:D

However, the GUI is about half the hight on my monitor as it should beIt only fills the middle half of the screen vetrically. Horizontaloy it's fine. and just i've tried to adust the vertical stretch setting on my monitor. it's already maxed out.

any thoughts? I'm running on an AMD k6-233 with an ATI Mach 64 video card. and a cheepo noname XGA monitor.

Any thought?

you have to configure X, that`s it.

I did. I went though the whole xconfigurator proscess and it didn't help at all

i think 7.0 is older than your video card, not too good for a newbie.

actually, the ATI Mach 64 card is a good 5-6 years old, much older than RH 7.

Actualy, RH auto detected the card with out any problem., but when it tried the demo screen, it's half hight.

Did you try xvidtune?

its usually good at resizing the screen.
