fluxbox troubles

I just installed fluxbox on my caldera openlinux box, but i cant find .xinitrc ot .x-session so that i can start it from the login manager. how would i get this to work?

just create the file ~/.xinitrc and add exec fluxbox to it. This will only work if you use startx to start X
