TIA steve301 12-23-2002, 11:28 AM gears Raoul_Duke 12-23-2002, 11:35 AM Cheers....:) What will it do BTW  steve301 12-23-2002, 11:51 AM bring up a 3d piture of 3 gears running, you can rotate them using the arrow keys on keyboard, every 5 seconds give frames per sec, I run a geforce 3 in window mode i get around 2800 to 4900 fps. In full screen I get around 280's give or take. This is with the new nvidia drivers 4191's. If I use the default drivers from suse I get like around 80 in full screen and 200's in window'd. Raoul_Duke 12-23-2002, 12:06 PM Cheers :) I think it's set up corectly.....the 'openGL graphic equaliser' that ships with Xmms runs fast and smoothly.........just need to be sure before i install UTournament tonight!! bwkaz 12-27-2002, 02:05 PM Also try glxinfo | grep -i direct -- if it says "direct rendering: yes", then you should have 3D capability. Should -- I'm not positive how Voodoo cards work... Sastraxi 12-28-2002, 05:46 PM Fortunately, since all of the 3D drivers make their own version of GLX, it will work with anything. DRI, NVdriver, UTAH-GLX, whatever. justlinux.com
