Was looking through the linux games list, thought i'd give ultima1 a try since its been awhile, 2.5 was out tryed it so far it really suprised me at how really good it looked and ran. Its a 28.6meg download but I think it was worth it, it came in a gz.bz file, used tar xvfj, then cd'd to file typed Ultima1 and it asked what resolution I wanted to play and off it went. If you got some time to kill and try something new might want to check it out.

Peace.

Ah, they are still on tech demos...I was waiting to try it until they had a near final (at least beta) release. It does look nice, wan't it based off the Unreal engine?

This was from their site, so it looks like the engine is totally diff than unreal engine, 2.5 tech looked nice with a good system, see my system specs, some of the little quest were there to try like finding the old man's wife and stuff.
