But, if you are talking about a toolbar (im visualizing something like KDE or GNOME) then i dont think its possible. I've been able to run a Gnome toolbar w/ blackbox, but thats another story. Blackbox was made to be fast and minimal..and as such they sacrificed the small toolbar to one standard (although all the colors could be configured, etc.). I haven't tried it, but from what I understand fluxbox is based on blackbox but it overcomes the problem of strict format - it allows toolbars, Gnome/KDE applets, slits, etc. Maybe you should check that out. redhatmandrake 12-22-2002, 02:58 AM If anyone goes to www.freshmeat.net under themes then blackbox will see themes that have some type of toolbar of applications on the site of it. Like a clock, cpu & memory status etc.. BigFatJoe 12-22-2002, 01:41 PM ummm....most likely thats gkrellm. it allows you to check resources, etc. and it as plugins for time, date, mounting drives, even checking your mail. And its skinnable, so it may very well look like the blackbox theme you were looking at. ; ) redhatmandrake 12-23-2002, 10:34 AM Yeah that's it.... way cool dude. justlinux.com
