Whenever I do a refresh using xqf a lot of the servers get ping times like from 15 up. However, if I actually ping those servers OR use quakestat by hand to ping those servers, I always get the correct number (which is always more than what is shown in xqf). Has anyone had this problem?
p.s. When I mean refresh in xqf, I mean select 1 server only and click refresh selected, I know that updated a bunch of servers might throw off ping times, but this is just 1.

I have noticed that also, but never really cared too much...I KNOW a ping of 15-20 is completely wrong :)
My connection is kind of flaky as I can get pings of 40 and then a minute later it would be 2000 then back down to 40-70 on good servers. That's why I don't pay much attention...bookmark a few servers you know are good and use the favorates :)

Hey guys,
Would one of you share the config for qstat with me? I would like to take a look at it and get started from there. I already installed qstat in a directory on my path and also installed XQF. I'm going to be looking for Quake 2, Quake 3 and Unreal Tournament 1 Servers.
Thanks,
Hector

Not sure how much good it do for you, it's mostly defaults and I only use it for Half-Life games...

Thanks, madhi
I'm just looking for a starting point as far as the formatting of that file goes. It's not very clear in the man page how it should be formatted. I think they should've included an example with the source code or posted one on their web site.
Thanks again,
Hector
