XP, Mandrake Internet Sharing

I'm running XP with VMWare running Mandrake 7.2. I need to share internet access between the two and wondered how. What IP address would i have to setup in the mandrake internet browser proxy setting.

Is there a way i can set XP as a proxy server and get my connection from there.

What kind of connections do you have and does your linux box have 2 nic cards in it? or one, depends on connection type.
