Hello,
I have this really annoying problem, I connect to the internet via an SMC 7004ABR router. The problem is whenever I go to a non-existant site (i.e http://dsdfghjhulfdsaertyfdsdfsgdfhg.com ) I get redirected to my external IP address, the problem with this is that it activates a bug in my router which causes all external IP's connecting to my web server (in the lan) to be reported as the routers WAN IP, this is obviously unacceptable for a web/ftp/mail server i am running. This does not seem to be a fault in the router or my ISP since it does not happen in Windows.
So far the problem is on:
Debian Linux 3.0r0
Mandrake Linux 9.0
Any solution would be very much appreciated :)
