Help with Speakers

I have a SoundBlaster Live! Platinum 5.1 and I'm running Mandrake 9.

Whenever I play MP3s (or any other type of audio), I only get sound from 2 of my 4 speakers (Klipsch ProMedia 4.1). Linux doesn't seem to like my rear channel. What's wrong?

Open the program aumix and check if all the volumes are set ok it may be your rear volume is muted. And you might wanna try using esd instead of oss.
