Hey all, Im running Red Hat 8, I only have one serial port on my box. My modem is by zoom, the model number is 3080c. RH8 doesn't have built in support. I just signed up for access4free isp, and I would like to get online with my linux box. RH8 isn't even detecting it. Im just kind of stumped. I would more then appreciate any replies I get on the matter! Thank you!

I goofed on the model number, Im using RH8, and my modem is model number 3048c. Sorry

It will work - they say on the product description page that in order to flash the firmware, Mac and Linux users will need to connect the modem to a windoze box...
