Hi, folks!

Is there any easy way to get uo running on a Linux system, other then running Windows via VM-Ware?

Yes there is. I am running RH7.3 and what ever version of wine that came with that. Here is was I did.

1. mount the UO CD: /mnt/cdrom
2. cd /mnt/cdrom
3. wine insall.exe ( or what ever the uo setup program was )

And that was it.To run it, I do

1. cd /usr/share/wine-c/Program\ Files/Ultima\ Online
2. wine uo.exe

I don't know how well this works, I don't play UO. But I stumbled onto this while surfing today and I thought it might be relevant for you:

I don't know if it will still work but Origin released a native linux installer, you may have to google for it or maybe www.linuxgames.com has it under the UO howto.
