I need a 8MB PCI video card that will work with X Server.

I have a NVIDIA riva tnt2 64 8mb pci video card. Took it out of my comp. to upgrade to 32mb vid card it works perfect. and will send copy of nvidia drivers for linux and :mad:win with it. I can ship for 3.00 and would like $10 for the card.

what is the best PCI NVidia card you can get? and where can you get them? i'd love to get rid of the stupid 3dfx card in my spare computer.

The best PCI nvidia card I've seen is a 64mb geforce2 mx400 with tv-out. That's the card I have seeing as how my mobo has no AGP slot (damn built-in agp card). I think there may also be a GF3 pci card but they are very rare and probably no better than the GF2 because of pci bottlenecks. The card I have or similar are available at most smaller PC part stores and online.

I have a spare ATi Rage XL 8MB vid card that is collecting dust right now. Should be good for a server application.

I upgraded to Radeons so I have no need for it. I would part with it for an insanely low price of postage and packaging. Better to have someone use it than toss it in the trash.
