Can anyone recommend this game?

I got a demo of it with Mandrake 8.2 PowerPack, but it didn't seem to work on my system for some reason... It just closed after a very short sequence. Same thing has happened regardless of what hardware it's installed on (I tried a friends computer with completely different hardware and my other computer)...

The game looks interesting though but I need to be sure that I will be able to run it.

I run it on my Debian box, but I couldn't really get into it. Although it's still an excellent game, I haven't had the time to continue with it at the moment.
