I have an older gateway monitor (crystalScan 700. My video card is a ATI radeon 7000. I have just installed Mandrake 9.0 and I am unable to get 1024x768 resolution. My monitor needs a 75hz refresh rate. I think that the refresh rate needs to be reset to 75hz but I don't know how to do it. Can anyone help?

And check your correct monitor refresh rates from users manual or web site and modify file like in there.
