Incoming requests might be blocked by either your firewall, or your ISP.

i don't think it's either my isp or my firewall, because i disabled iptables and i checked w/ my isp and they only block port 80. that's why i'm running on port 2002(also beause of the year). my router is set to let port 2002 connection come in. so i don't get it.

Someone trying to get to you from the outside is going to have to type www.yourdomain.com:2002
Are they doing that? Because if they don't append the port number to it, the browser is going to look to port 80 by default.

yes, they do type in the port number.

are you running a router? if so, make sure it is port forwarding to the proper IP address on your PC...also, if you are running a router, remember that 192.x.x.x addresses are private--users have to type in your public IP address to get to your server. Incidentally, once you do get it set up, you might want to go to www.cjb.com (or .net, I forget) and register a free virtual DNS entry--that way you can specify the 2002 without them having to type it in... i.e. when they type in yourservername.cjb.net, it automatically redirects to your.ip.address.xx:2002 without them having to type in the :2002 thing. BTW, your sig says 'traped'...whereas 'trapped' is the proper spelling, 'traped' sounds like raped, which also works in the case of microsuck! :)
