A couple of days ago a friend of mine replaced the CMOS battery on the motherboard and now it will not see the hard drive at all. I've gone through the settings in the BIOS and I have had no luck. I was hoping that someone out there would have a solution. I've already tried to set everything to Auto and even tried to set the Cylinders, Heads, and Sectors and still nothing. The motherboard is a MS-6119 Ver 1.1 with an Award BIOS. If there is anymore info that you need I will try to get it. Thanks for any help you can give.

I would check the ide cable and make sure its firmly in place... your friend could have knocked it loose when changing the battery.

Checked the cables and everything is very snug.

Never mind guys. I figured it out. The ribbon cable was on backwards, duh. Thanks for the help anyways.
