If anyone can recommend some places where i could pick up some majorly cheap hardware I'd very much appreciate it Luke sarah31 11-24-2002, 02:46 AM shipping and duty may rule out buying from canada but i would not rule it out. computeravenue (http://www.computeravenue.ca) computerboulevard (http://www.computerboulevard.ca) here are the two places i shop at. remember though prices might seem high the US greenback buys alot up here. LinuxLuke 11-24-2002, 02:58 AM how perfect, since "I AM CANADIAN!" :) (not meant to be yelling" sarah31 11-24-2002, 02:59 AM heh what part of canada? LinuxLuke 11-24-2002, 03:03 AM 'round Ontario Canada, about 2 hours north of Toronto sarah31 11-24-2002, 03:06 AM techtronics (http://www.techtronics.ca) this maybe a good option (depending on shipping). there are cheap prices at alot of US based sites too but shipping, exchange, and duty would kill any saving (if at all). LinuxLuke 11-24-2002, 03:09 AM Well, I've looked around that Computer avenue place, and one of their upgrades seems good, it's practically a whole computer, for half the price of their packages (most of the price being that damned XP...) sarah31 11-24-2002, 03:17 AM well i picked up their gold update package with a few changes (XP 1800+,gf4 mx440, 256 MB ddr, and no speakers), a ethernet hub and three ethernet cables for $960 justlinux.com
