I have recently installed RH 7.2 on my Dell Inspiron 8200. I can't get xwindows configured right. I have tried just about all the different options Linux has. Does anyone know how to manually edit the x86config file. I have a 15in UXGA monitor with a Nvidia Geforce4 440 Controller with 64MB. I am running dual boot with Windows XP. Thanks

the result should give you a good place to start(maybe even the exact solution)

Check out this thread (http://www.linuxnewbie.org/forum/showthread.php?threadid=73603&highlight=nvidia+and+redhat). I think your problem may have something to do with the nvidia drivers that RH uses by default. The above should point you in the right direction.
