Trying to get my bell symaptico ADSl 1MB modem to work with linux was not fun at all. But thanks to alot of help from all of you I finnaly got it up and running. I found the easiest way to get it up was to use Roaring Penguin (http://www.roaringpenguin.com/pppoe/) app. which gives you a basic gui that asks for username and pass to connect. Thanks again to everyone for your ongoing support. Hopefully someone well find this resource usefull in the future.
