Hi all its been awhile since ive posted here, forgot my username and passwd so starting fresh.............well i have RH8.0 on my computer and started using tripwire the version redhat comes with..........bought it at Frys........got my database and my files installed ran a tripwire --check and get nothing all files the same as my database .......Ok thats fine now my Question is when I reboot i got lots of files changed from /var/log/ ......./root/.
some are ok i know they should change when you reboot and there MD5 numbers are still good, but its the others iam worried about the ones where the MD5 numbers changed .....Is this normal or am i doing something wrong.......any help would be great thanxs too all..........
