I got fed up with Red Hat's gnome-toaster not working well, so I went and downloaded the source myself and compiled it. Ran fine. But when I when I dragged mp3s to the audio tracks to be converted and burned the CD, it did burn the CD, but  when I put it into a CD player, I had tracks with the same legnth as the songs, but no audio!

WHY!?

P.S. Don't give me an answer such as "perhaps you didn't compile it right", as I checked all the ./configure, make, and make install output... no errors.

im quite sure you compiled right:)

i had some issues with gnome toaster check the prefrences and make sure the right codec is being converted before burning ie wav vs iso ect ect i also had some troubles with it wanting to put a gnome-toaster filesystem on the disk... but eventually i got it to work

post your prefrences if your not sure and sombody or I can check them against a working one..

good luck
