ok, i know xine has come up often on here, yet i havent found someone with a similar problem as i do. i'm running redhat 8.0 and have been using synaptic to install packages and whatnot. so far, so good. i installed everything necessary for xine to run. i can open up xine, but nothing will play. cannot get anything; no audio, no video. what have i done wrong? xmms works fine, just got real player 8 working, all my cd players work. but no xine. and i want my movies dammit :D . any help would be greatly appreciated. thanx
