In a coupla days I'm embarking on a new Intranet running under RedHat/Apache. I'll be using Dreamweaver MX to create the site and it would be nice if I could work on the site directly on the web server so I don't have to keep uploading new pages manually etc.

Can anyone point me in the direction to start this off or is it soo easy I don't need pointed?

I haven't used Dreamweaver MX, but if it's anything like Dreamweaver 4 the fact that you are checking in/out files from a webserver makes no difference whether it's a MS web server or Linux webserver.
