KDE Autorun

When I start SuSe 8.1(KDE) Openoffice auto starts a blank document. How do I stop this from happening? Is it scheduled somewhere to do this?

Do you mean that openoffice starts each time you log in? If so, you need to run KDE, close all your programs, and shutdown or restart. The next time you run it, when you logout, uncheck the box that asks if you want to save your desktop settings. That should fix your problem.

Also, if you run certain things each time you start, you might want to save them using a similar process.
