Hi,
This is my first post to this board, please let me know if my question belongs somewhere else. I am open for suggestions on where to go for newbie questions.

So here is the question:

How do I get away from the Gnome login screen to regular comand line without using the mouse.

After installing Red Hat 7.2 with Gnome desktop on an old machine with seriel mouse, I cannot control anything because the mouse doesnt work. I want to issue mouseconfig command but the system trys to load the desktop gnome.... once I login to gnome I cant do anything because the mouse doesnt work...

thanks in advacne

right, so ctrl alt f7 should bring you back. however, those are terminals and not your x server so you won't be able to open up galeon or mozilla or whatever inside there. i don't use gnome, but i would imagine that there are default keyboard shortcuts to access the main menu, etc. google (http://www.google.com) it
