Is there a way I can reduce the amount of time YDL takes to look for an 'eth0' connection in the boot sequence when I am using my TiBook remotely (i.e. not at home connected to a cable modem).
It seems like it takes a good 1-2 min while looking for an ethernet connection that isn't there before YDL will continue booting. I'm wondering if I need to tweak the kernel to tell it "hey I'm on the road, there's no cable connected, just bypass it and keep booting."
