I installed Fluxbox

./configure
make
make install
on gnome Terminal

and when I write `fluxbox` its giving this error :

Failed to read: session.tabs
Setting default value
Failed to read: session.slitlistFile
Setting default value
Failed to read: session.groupFile
Setting default value
Faild to load groupfile:
BScreen::BScreen: an error occured while querying the X server.
another window manager is already running on display :0.0.
Blackbox::Blackbox: no managable screens found, aborting

What I have to do ?

Sounds like your still logged into Gnome. Shutdown X and then start fluxbox.

You have to log totaly out of the X server. It looks as though you probably still have the GUI with the log in window up. You also need to edit .xinitrc to get fluxbox to come up when you restart X server. There's a nhf here for blackbox that would probably hold your hand through the process, though I used the FAQ on fluxboxes website and it worked just fine.

since you're using redhat8 you might wanna look at this link to show you how to put it in your "session" drop down menu.
