wheres the fluxbox menu

might sound dumb but i installed through apt-get with libranet and i have a sample "menu" in my home directory which says not to edit. and its not even the same one anyhow. thats fine but i cant find it in /usr/share/fluxbox or anywhere else to copy it over. the binary is in /usr/bin/fluxbox

any idea?

Try /usr/share/commonbox and ~/.fluxbox

the fluxbox menu is in ~/.fluxbox (notice the . before "fluxbox" meaning it's a hidden dir) just go in there and edit the "menu" file to your liking you should find it very easy to do.

if you look at ~/.fluxbox/init

it will tell you the location of all the files it is using including the keys file, menu file, theme, etc.
