Depending on your window manager, create an entry for gkrellm in your menu.

For Fluxbox:
Open ~/.fluxbox/menu in a text editor and add the line:
[exec] [GKrellM] {gkrellm -w}

Remove the '-w' if you don't want it running in the slit.
