This seemed simple enough, I want to add an application to the menu item on RH 8.0 Gnome Menu... but how do I do this? I can't find a . directory or program ANYWHERE, this sux.

it's really quite an ugly setup and i haven't played with it much but here is what i know.
take a look in:
/etc/X11/desktop-menus
and also at:
/usr/share/applications
take a look in:
/etc/X11/desktop-menus

hopefully someone is making a menu editor for it already :)
