Hi everyone,

Is there a key sequence to pop up the menu in fluxbox?
I read the documentation on the fluxbox site, and the command for the menu as far as I understand is RootMenu.

I tried the following in the keys file:

Mod1 Shift :RootMenu this didn't work
Mod1 F5 :RootMenu didn't work either

Does anyone know how to get it working?

Thanks a lot,

emus

Right clicking works, but I would like to have a key sequence.

did you restart flux after you added that to your keys file? also - check your init file to make sure it is reading the correct keys file (the one you are adding to).

Yes I restarted it, and the init file points to the correct location too.

Thanks for your replies sharth and Cybr099,

it's working now, I'm not sure what I had done wrong earlier. I might have spelled Mod1 with an l instead of a one. I have it set to the following now

Mod1 q :RootMenu

thanks again,

emus

We love to help emus :). You might also want to try Mod4 instead of 1. Just because Im sure no programs in Linux use Mod4... But I know many use Mod1...

Just my 2 cents
