Ok, I hardcore newbie, have just resinstalled red hat 7.3 again, this time with GNOME and KDE(first time with KDE today). I see that in GNOME there is an option to update it, and runing KDE i see no such options. Are there any programs to do updates in KDE, or am i just retarted and cant find it? If there is not, is there a web site that i need to attend to check for uptades? Or am i just ENTIRELY retarted and KDE doesnt need to be updated? Sorry for the lame quesiton, just curious. Thanks in advace.

NO you don't need to constantly update KDE. You will waste much of your time and not see much of a difference. I know...i used to do it and don't anymore although I still use KDE.

just to clarify what you want to do. do you want to know how to update kde? if this is the case
you need to download the version of kde packages you want in the RPM format, you will want the 7.3 RPMS
follow the directions located hear http://www.kde.org/download.html they will explain how to get & install the newest version of kde
:) if you have further questions post back
