YDL 2.3 and the trackpad on my iBook Dual-USB

I can't simulate a right mouse click with my iBook and YDL 2.3 ! The F12 button is supposed to simulate the right mouse click, but on an iBook it opens the CD drive. Holding down Control while clicking the mouse toggle does nothing. I can't empty the trash, and I'm not getting the general level of functionallity I need. How do you work with a computer without being able to right-click?

Have you tried pressing the fn key, it's on the left side of the keyboard - this is supposed to give function keys functionality, I don't know if that will work, but it's a thought.
