I would like to know if there are any good tutorials out there.. or what direction should I take to make install disks from the source rpms of Redhat Advanced Server 2.1.

Well.. the main reason I want to do this is because I can't dl the isos of rhas. I would like to play around with this but don't have the extra 800 bucks to fork out for the disks from redhat and I dont' know anyone who has the images.

Second reason I would like to do this is to actually learn how to do this.

Any help would be much appreciated. thanx

I doubt that would be possible unless you can do a minimum install of the basic Redhat and the download, rebuild the src rpms and install the resulting binary rpm packages.

You'll have lots of dependency issues to begin with.

We have RH Advanced Server cd's at work, but only because they were included with the IBM Xseries server we purchased and of course included in the price.
