mozilla cookies

i'm using mozilla 1.1 and it doesnt seem to hold cookies very well. about once a week i'll lose my logon cookies for this site and and anywhere else that is supposed to "keep you logged on". its obviously not a big deal but it's frustrating me.

anyone know how to fix this?

This is just the obvious check, but have you verified that all your cookie preferences (particularly the maximum lifetime) are set properly?

i did, and it was set to "allow all" and didnt have any lifetime restrictions. i just tried setting it to 9,999 days to see if that will override some magical bug and make it work better. i wont know for a while if that solves it though.
